Detailed Solution

The above statement is false.
Public facilities are not shared equally by all the people. People who are poor and who are living in slum areas are not getting proper public facilities like rich people or city dwellers. For example, in Chennai city, the municipal water supply meets only about half the needs of the city's people. Water is not delivered regularly and evenly to all places. Some areas get water more regularly than others. Those areas closer to water storing areas get more water than distant ones. When there is a water shortage, middle-class people can find other alternatives, like digging borewells, buying water from tankers, and using bottled water for drinking. Poor people face many hardships as they can't afford the alternatives. Hence, Public facilities are not shared equally by all people.
