Detailed Solution

We know that the product of prime numbers can be used to represent any composite number.
If the last digit of any number is 0 or 5, then it is divisible by 5.
So, this is true only if prime factorization has the factor 5.
So, we will check this by finding the factors of 12 by the prime factorization method.
12=2×2×3 12= 2 2 ×3
Then,
12 n = 2 2 ×3 n 12 n = 2 2n × 3 n
We can conclude that prime factorization does not have the factor 5.
Thus, no such n exists for which 12 n  ends with the digit 0 or 5.
Therefore, given statement is true.
Hence, option (1) is correct.
