Detailed Solution

Concept: The Sun, the star it circles, and the Moon, its satellite, are both in close proximity to the Earth. Of course, without the Sun, life on Earth would be impossible due to the necessity for energy as well as light, both of which are provided by the Sun. Because the Sun and our planet appear to have formed from the same cosmic cloud, Earth would spin out into space if the Sun's gravitational pull were to be removed.
The Moon, which is closer and smaller than the Sun yet has a greater impact on human existence, has more control on the tide. Together, these two bodies effectively sum up the period of human history that the Sun and Moon have been marking with their motions from the dawn of time. The regular rise and decrease in sea level is caused by tides, which are influenced by the relative positions and gravitational pulls of the Earth, Moon, and Sun.
In a day, there are two high tides and two low tides. Spring tides are particularly high since the Sun, Moon, and Earth are all in alignment at the time. The combined gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun on the sea is to blame for this. During the new and full moon phases, spring tide occurs. Weaker tides occur when the Moon is in its first or third quarter phase, where the Sun's gravity and the Moon's gravity pull in opposite directions.
As a result, the statement is accurate.
