Detailed Solution

The given statement is true.
Bhadrabahu was the final acharya of the Jain Sangha. Following his death, the Jain Sangha was split into two sects: Shvetambaras and Digambaras. In Magadha, Acharya Bhadrabahu foretold a twelve-year famine. Because it was hard to properly adhere to Jainism's principles, Bhadrabahu and his students relocated to Karnataka. Sthulabhadra, a follower of Bhadrabahu, stayed in Magadha and formed a new branch of Jainism by making precepts simple to follow. Following that, Jainism was split into two sects.
