Detailed Solution

The given statement is  true.
Concept- In order to assess the image created by the flat mirror, we must first set an object in
in front of it, try to examine it, and then do so just once. Then go over each feature of the picture
created by the plane mirror.
The following are the traits, qualities, or nature of the picture created by a flat mirror:
(1) The picture is in an upright or erect position: In optics, an erect image is one that seems to
be on its side. Both rays must cross each other at a certain location in order to create an erect
picture. In contrast to an inverted picture, it is an image whose directions match those of the
object. It is a characteristic of pictures created by a planar mirror.
2. The picture and the object are of the same size. A plane mirror creates an image that is the
same size as the item it is reflecting. The picture of an item that is 10 cm high will also be 10
cm high. A plane mirror's produced image is positioned the same distance behind it as the
item in front of it.
3. The picture is laterally reversed: The reflection in a mirror is, as we are already aware.
(Virtual) Equal distance, same size behind the mirror Upright. But perhaps there's one more
standard to include: Inverted laterally.
(4.) Because the picture is virtual, it cannot be viewed on a screen: When using plane mirrors,
placing a screen in front of the mirror will not provide the desired virtual picture. The actual
representation of the "virtual object" behind the mirror is the one that forms on your retina.
Hence, the given statement is true.
