Detailed Solution

The given statement is  true.
Concept- Generators or dynamos use very identical processes to create Direct Current and Alternating Current. There are also other techniques, like as chemical reactions, that produce electrical energy that may be utilised for a variety of reasons.
The types of power produced are as follows: - Direct current sources: commutator-based dynamos, chemical cells and batteries, solar cells
Alternating current sources: generators, hydroelectric plants, wind turbines
Electric energy, in whatever form, necessitates the extraction of another type of energy. Some devices, such as a generator, a solar cell, or a windmill, may generate both types of electric current with little adjustments.
Let's break down the many sources depending on the energy form from which current is transformed.
A.Mechanical energy: Generators and dynamos convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. In a magnetic field, a revolving metal strip with wire creates current in the wire, which we extract and utilise. The DC current is produced by including a commutator in the arrangement. A commutator aids in maintaining the flow current's direction constant. Without it, the resultant current is alternating current (AC) .
B.Chemical energy: The batteries we use, from AAA to huge ones in automobiles, employ chemical processes to generate energy for electric energy. Most chemical processes produce ions, which cause an electric flux in the system. The primary cell (Zinc - carbon dry cell) , rechargeable secondary cell (Lead - acid cell) , hydrogen fuel cell, and nickel - cadmium cell are the most common chemical reactions-based sources of DC current.
C.Solar cells and wind turbines: Solar cells store energy in the form of DC current, which may then be converted to AC current. If the DC current adjustment is not used, the windmills create AC current.
These are the numerous electric current sources.
Hence, the given statement is true.
