Detailed Solution

The given statement is  true.
Concept- The Celsius scale and the Kelvin scale are temperature scales. Using suitable relationships between the two scales, we can convert between them or get the temperature in one of the other scales as needed.
The Celsius scale is the most commonly used temperature scale in our daily lives. This is due to the scale's measurement range being more representative of our everyday needs. The temperature at which water freezes to ice under normal pressure circumstances is Question Image on the Celsius scale. Also, the temperature at which water turns to steam is Question Image. As a reason, we place a premium on the Celsius scale.
We discovered that there is a minimum feasible temperature indicated as 0K below which no temperature exists when the absolute temperature scale was devised. As a result, the Kelvin scale became increasingly relevant to the scientific community dealing with sub-zero temperatures. To minimise confusion, this scale was calibrated with the Celsius scale such that their beginning points only differed. Either increase in one unit of any scale implies an increase in one unit of the other scale as well.
The equivalent temperature magnitudes were defined as -

Hence, the given statement is true.
