Statement - I : A body may be accelerated even when it is moving at uniform speed.
Statement - II : When direction of motion of the body is changing then body may have acceleration.

The body will have acceleration when the velocity of the body changes, it means the magnitude of velocity can change or the direction of the velocity changes keeping the magnitude constant.

A body moving in uniform circular motion is an example such motion.
