Statement - I : A resistor obeys ohm’s law while a diode does not

Ohm's law says the current passing through a conductor is proportional to the potential difference across the conductor. In the case of a diode, the current through it does not linearly depend on the potential difference. Hence, diodes do not obey Ohm's law.
