Statement 1 : Dimethyl ether and disilyl ether both readily form complexes with trimethyl borane

In ${\mathrm{H}}_3\mathrm{Si}-\mathrm{O}-{\mathrm{H}}_3\mathrm{Si},$ due to $\mathrm{p\pi }-\mathrm{d\pi }$ delocalization, availability of lone pairs on $\mathrm{O}-$ atom is decreased and thus di silyl ether does not  react with $\mathrm{B}{\left({\mathrm{CH}}_3\right)}_3.$
