Statement A : If the lift is falling freely then the man on its floor experiences no reaction from the floor. 

Statement B : If the lift moves down with an acceleration a > g, then the normal reaction becomes zero and the man feels floating up in the lift.

If the lift is freely falling the acceleration of the body will be g, which implies that the reaction force will be zero.

if the lift is moving with an acceleration a>g not only the reaction force becomes zero, the lift appears to be moving down w.r.t man(man feels that he is floating inside the lift).
