Statement A: Euglena show both autotrophic and heterotrophic nutrition.

Statement B: Euglena shows predation in the absence of light and liberates oxygen in the presence of light

Euglena has pigments similar to higher plants and hence can carryout photosynthesis during day time and liberate oxygen. During night time or in the absence of light it shows predation by taking in other smaller organisms by phagocytosis.
