Detailed Solution

Tyndall is a characteristic property of  Colloids. when light is passed through

Colloidal particles (diameter 1nm - 1000nm) and viewed at right angles

A tyndall cone is observed.

True solutions donot show Tyndall due to their small size.

In other words Brownian movement of colloids cause Tyndall effect

Brownian movement of true solution do not cause Tyndall effect

particle size in colloids > true solutions , so colloidal particles

move slower than true solution particles
