Statement –I : Dark reaction occurs at night in the stroma of chloroplast.                           

Statement –II : All the enzymes responsible for CO₂ fixation remain inactive in presence of light

Dark reaction occurs during in the presence and absence of light. some of the enzymes are fully active only when conditions simulate those in green cells exposed to light. In living plants, these enzymes are active during photosynthesis but not in the dark.
