Statement-I : There is a clear cut division of labour among RNA polymerases of eukaryotes.                                        

Statement-II : RNA polymerase II of eukaryotes directly forms active messenger RNA

There are three RNA polymerases involved in the formation of various RNAs in Eukaryotes. RNA polymerase II forms inactive mRNA known as heterogenous nuclear RNA which upon processing is converted to mRNA in the nucleus and later transported to cytoplasm.
