b) A -COOH group but no -NH2 group(or no other basic groups like secondary.amine group or tertiary amine group)…..Acidic amino acid;

c) No -COOH group but a -NH2 group(or other basic groups like secondary.amine group or tertiary amine group)….Basic amino acid;

In the case of valine -R is isopropyl group,-CHCH32 group;
