Statement –I : Dark reaction occurs at night in the stroma of chloroplast.                          

Statement –II : CO₂ fixation occurs only during C₃ cycle.

Dark reaction occurs during in the presence of absence of light. The term dark  reaction does not mean that it takes place only in the dark period or night. Carbon dioxide fixation occurs in both C₃ and C₄ cycles.
