Process in which any substance is burnt in excess of oxygen is called combustion.

All combustion reactions are exothermic

Reaction of ${\mathrm{N}}_2$ with ${\mathrm{O}}_2$ is endothermic hence cannot be regarded as combustion reaction

Thus both the statements are false
