Stomatal movement is not affected by

Stomatal movement is not infl uenced by oxygen concentration as oxygen has no role in regulating the stomatal movement. Temperature, light and CO2 concentrations influence transpiration.
(1) With increase in temperature, rate of evaporation of water increases and,  hence, transpiration increases.
(2) With increase in light intensity, the transpiration rate increases.
(4) With increase in CO2 concentration, the transpiration rate decreases due to gradual closure of stomata.
