Detailed Solution

Strip cropping is a technique that involves growing various crops in the same area in easily recognisable stripes or patches, usually alternately.
1)      Strip farming involves growing crops in bands or strips across a field. It prevents soil erosion when the slope is too long. It prevents soil erosion by retaining soil quality and building water dams. Some plant layers absorb minerals and water from the soil more readily than others. Because water does not contain minerals, it usually washes away as it reaches the fragile soils. Strips of soil slow the water moving towards them. It will not allow getting washed away.
2)      Because soil erosion is becoming more common, it is critical to preserve the soil. Other than strip cropping, soil conservation strategies such as afforestation, dam construction, and modifying agricultural practices improve soil quality and crop productivity.
