Detailed Solution

Stupas had common features such as a Relic casket with bodily remains of the Buddha and his followers.
A stupa is an important architectural component in Buddhism, despite its invention predating Buddhism. The English term "stupa" means "mound." It is available in a range of dimensions, including enormous and little, round and tall. The bodily remains of Buddha and his followers, such as their teeth, bones, or ashes, as well as their possessions, coins, and priceless gems, were kept in a relic casket at the centre of this stupa. A layer of baked or mud brick was placed on top of this. On rare occasions, carved stone slabs would encircle the dome-shaped building. Finally, the Pradakshina Path reached the stupa. It has railings all around it and a gateway at the entrance.
