$a+b=46\to 1$

$a^2-b^2=92$

$(a+b)(a-b)=92$

$46(a-b)=92$

$a-b=2\to 2$

$\therefore a+b=46$

$a-b=2$

$\overline{2a=48}$

$a=24$

$a-b=2$

$24-b=2$

$b=24-2=22$
