Given, Sumitra has ₹ 34 in 50 paise and 25 paise coins.
The number of 25 paise coins is two times of the number of 50 paise coins.
Let the number of 50 paise coins she has be x.
So the number of 25 paise coins she has is 2x.
So, according to the question,
x×0.5+2x×0.25=34      [1 rupee=100 paise]
0.5x+0.5x=34
x = 34
Hence, number of 50 paise coins are 34 and 25 paise coins are 0.5x+0.5x=34.
Hence, option 3 is correct.
