Shah Jahan's rule saw the apex of Mughal architecture's symbolic content. The Taj Mahal complex was designed as a duplicate of the mansion of Mumtaz in paradise on earth. This idea was inspired by a verse by Bibadal Khan, the royal jeweller and poet. The Mughals created a particular style of Indo-Islamic architecture during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries as their empire expanded and contracted across the Indian subcontinent. This style is known as "Mughal architecture". It is constructed from pure white marble, which has a distinctive lustre and delicate texture. Gardens, fountains, and pools line the perimeter of the main building. On a 6.6 metre high pedestal, the mausoleum is constructed. Mumtaz's body has been laid to rest on the banks of the Yamuna River. Over her grave, he built the Taj Mahal as he had promised. Even the remains of Shah Jahan were placed next to the Mumtaz Tomb. One of the Seven Wonders of the World was created by the love of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz.
