Detailed Solution

Terrace farming is practised by Nagas in Nagaland.
Terrace farming is a farming method in which land on a hill slope is divided into flat plots and carved out in steps. To retain water, the sides of each plot are raised. This allows water to accumulate in the field, making it suitable for rice cultivation. Chizami is a village in Nagaland's Phek district. This village's residents practise terrace farming. They each have their field. They do, however, collaborate in each other's fields. They form groups of six or eight people and clean an entire mountainside. When the day's work is completed, each group eats together.
