Robespierre gave the statement “Terror is nothing but justice”. Robespierre was the leader of the Jacobins (Low prosperous people). He removed monarchs from France permanently. His rule in France was known as the Reign of terror. He follows a rule of severe control and punishment. He gave punishments to people who seemed to be enemies of the republic. His punishment was to behead the person with a device. The method of punishment was to arrest and imprison. If the person was found guilty, then he was beheaded.
