Detailed Solution

The Rowlatt Act resulted in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The Rowlatt Act was proposed and implemented in India by the British colonial government in 1919. The Act was hurriedly passed through the Imperial Legislative Council. The rejections and objections regarding the Rowlatt Act by the Indian members of the Imperial Legislative Council were ignored. With the implementation of the Rowlatt Act, the government could now repress political activities and even imprison political prisoners without trial for two years.
