Detailed Solution

The palaeolithic age comes from the words “paleo = old” + “lithic = stone”, i.e. old stone age.
The palaeolithic age was a prehistoric period between 2.6 million and 10,000 years ago. In that period, humans lived in huts, tents made of animal skin, and caves. They used a combination of wood and stone chips as a sole means of propulsion. Both of these were lightweight and blunt. Animal skin served as their clothing. Nomadic lifestyles were the norm for individuals in the Palaeolithic era. People aged 40–50 moved from location to location while gathering food and hunting. The Neolithic age existed between approximately 10,000 and 4000 years ago. People from the Neolithic era had begun herding domestic animals and creating agriculture and permanent villages.
