Detailed Solution

The Chartism Movement demanded the Right to Vote for Adult Males in Britain during the 18th century. The Chartist movement was the first mass movement driven by the working class. It expanded after the Transformation Act of 1832's inability to raise the vote over people in charge of the property. Chartism was a working-class movement that emerged in 1836 and was most active between 1838 and 1848. The goal of the Chartists was to gain political rights and influence over workers. Chartism got its name from the People's Charter, which listed six main objectives of the organization. Feargus O'Connor was a chartered leader. He lost his Cork seat in 1835 and has since become an independent advocate of radical change in England and has become the leader of a growing Chartist movement.
