Detailed Solution

The state parties are referred to as regional parties.
Other than national parties, the majority of the main parties in the nation are categorised as State parties by the Election Commission. These are frequently known as regional parties. However, state political parties are not required to have a regional ideology. Some of these parties are nationalist organisations with a strong presence in only a few states in India. Parties having national-level political organisations and branches in various forms include the Samajwadi Party, Samata Party, and Rashtriya Janata Dal. Biju Janata Dal, Sikkim Democratic Front, and Mizo National Front are a few of these parties aware of their state identities. The Indian Parliament is becoming increasingly more politically diverse due to the growth in the number and power of state parties.
