Detailed Solution

The Suffragette Movement was a  movement to give women the right to vote. The movement was organised by women who saw the prevailing voting system and rights as a sham in the early 20th century. The voting right, during that time, was not extended to women, and only the men of property could vote. The suffragette movement was also supported by many radicals who believed that the government should be based on the majority of the country's population and stood against the privileges of the rich landowners and wealthy factory owners.
