Detailed Solution

The Mesolithic Age was a transitional phase between the Paleolithic Age and the Neolithic Age.
As key developments, including the improvement of stone tools and the early domestication of animals, remained in their infancy and did not completely mature until the beginning of the Neolithic era, the Mesolithic period is known as the period of transition. Depending on the region, the Mesolithic era varied in length. It started in the Levant as early as 20,000 BCE and terminated in Europe as late as 3,000 BCE. A few traits of the Mesolithic Age include a change in tool design and production methods, a shift from hunting big animals to smaller games, and an increasing interest in the stars. The development of easy farming methods was another feature of the Mesolithic.
