Detailed Solution

The first mass-produced car in history was the Ford T-Model. Henry Ford understood that the "assembly line" method would provide a quicker and more affordable way to produce cars. The assembly line required workers to perform repetitive tasks mechanically and continuously at the speed set by the conveyor belt, such as attaching a specific part to a car. By accelerating the rate of work, this method increased productivity per worker. As a result, Henry Ford's vehicles left the assembly line at three-minute intervals, a significantly higher rate than was possible with earlier techniques.
