The Ahmedabad Mill Strike was a Satyagraha of cotton mill workers. The spiritual leader undertook his initial quick unto death on 15th March 1918. Gandhi used passive and degreed passive resistance for the primary time throughout an industrial dispute between the homeowners and staff of a textile mill in Ahmedabad. The homeowners wished to withdraw the plague bonus to the staff, whereas the staff was difficult to hike 35% in their wages. Throughout the peaceful strike junction rectifier by Gandhi, he underwent passive resistance. The Ahmedabad Mill strike was self-made, and the staff was granted the raise they wished.
