The working class participated in the nationalist struggle with their struggles and agendas. The Industrial Working Classes did not participate in the Civil Disobedience movement except in the region of Nagpur. In Nagpur, the workers struggled against the low wages and poor working conditions. In their struggle, the worker adopted the Gandhian Programme. The workers in the Chottanagpur mines put on Gandhian caps and organised rallies, protests, and boycott campaigns. The Railway workers and dock workers too participated in the movement.
