It can be either a federal approach or horizontal power distribution in our country. The division of power between different organs of governance, i.e., Legislature, executive, and Judiciary, is called checks and balances as these three organs keep checks on each other, and in case of any fraud or mistake, the other points it out openly and even can correct it if needed.
