It is given that acceleration due to gravity on the planet A is 9 times the acceleration due to gravity on planet B i.e.,

gA​=9gB​ ...(i)

From the third equation of motion 

v2=2gh ...(ii)

At planet A, hA​=v22gA​​ ...(ii)

At planet B, hB​=v22gB​​ ...(iii)

Dividing Eq. (ii) by Eq. (iii) we have 

hAhB=gBgA

From Eq. (i), gA​=9gB​

hAhB=gA9gB = 19

or hB​=9hA​=9×2

                 =18 m(∴hA​=2m)
