A force of attraction acts on everybody on the surface of earth, which pulls every object towards earth’s centre. This force is called earth’s gravitational force or acceleration due to gravity. it is denoted by ‘g’. A force of attraction is there on moon, let it ‘gm ‘
acceleration due to gravity on earth is :

g = g_{e}

g_{m} = garvity of moon

Given,

g_{m} = \frac{1}{6} * g_{e}

g_{e} = 9.8 m / s

\frac{h ieg h t covered on eart h}{h eig h t covered on moon} = \frac{\frac{1}{6} * h}{h} = \frac{1 * h}{6 * h} = \frac{1 * 2}{6 * 2} = \frac{2}{12}

h ieg h t covered on moon = 12 m

As the gravity of moon is less the height covered on moon is more. Therefore, correct answer is 12m.
