Let the age of girl be s years
age of grandmother be t years.

∵

age of a girl in month 9 is equal to the age of her grandmother in years

\Rightarrow 12 s = t \dots \dots \dots (i)

Now, difference between their ages is 66 years

\Rightarrow t - s = 66 \dots \dots . (ii)

\Rightarrow 12 s - s = 66

\Rightarrow 11 s = 66

\Rightarrow s = \frac{66}{11} = 6

∴ s = 6

Put s in (i);

\Rightarrow 12 s = t

\Rightarrow t = 12 \times 6

\Rightarrow t = 72

∴ age of the =s=6 years.
age of the grandmother =t=72 years.
