The American War of Independence took place from 1776-1783 CE.
In the 15th century, many European scholars settled in America as they took control of the administration of 13 colonies of North America. These colonies had to pay taxes and had no right to speak in the British Parliament. Most of the rights of people were provided in Britain but not America. This led to a revolt against British rule. After that, a war started between the 13 colonies of America and the British, which took place between 1776 and 1783 CE. Americans defeated the British and made them sign the documents of surrender. Thus, a new nation came into existence- The United States of America (USA).
