Let PQ be the tower and R be the point of observation.
Question ImageIn ΔPQR, tanθ=h192+x=512
x=15(12h-960)...(1)
In ΔPQS, tanϕ=hx=34
x=4h3...(2)
From (1) and (2), we get,
4h3=15(12h-960) h=180 The height of the tower is 180 m.
Hence, the correct option is 3.
