Detailed Solution

The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
An incident ray is a straight-lined ray of light that strikes a surface, known as an incident ray on that surface.
The regular line (normal) divides the angle between the ray that is incident and the ray that is reflected into two equal angles. The angle between the incident ray and the normal is known as the angle of incidence, whereas the angle between the reflected ray and the normal is known as the angle of reflection.
According to the first law of reflection, “when a ray of light reflects off a surface, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.”
