Given, the angles of a triangle are in AP and the greatest angle is twice the least.

We know that, the first term = a   and d = common difference.

Let the interior angles of a triangle as: ad a a+d .

As the sum of three interior angles of a triangle is 180 ° ,

ad +a+ a+d = 180 ° ad+a+a+d= 180 ° 3a= 180 °

a= 180 ° 3 = 60 °

As the greatest angle is 2 times of the smallest angle i.e., a+d =2 ad

a+d =2 ad 60+d =2 60d 60+d=1202d 2d+d=12060

3d=60 d= 60 3 d= 20 °

So, the three angles be,

ad, a, a+d=6020, 60, 60+20=40°, 60°, 80°

Hence, the angles of the triangle are 40, 60, 80.
