Detailed Solution

The apartheid system was particularly oppressive for black.
The apartheid system was based on the practice of racial discrimination. The Europeans adopted the apartheid system to label people according to their skin. They discriminated against all non-whites. But in particular, it was oppressive for blacks. The discrimination between the whites and the blacks was as follows:
1)      Blacks were not entitled to reside in the white-occupied region. They could not penetrate white areas without approval.
2)      The public places, including railways, hospitals, libraries, schools, public toilets, restaurants, swimming pools, etc., were separate for the blacks and the whites.
3)      They were also forbidden to attend churches in the presence of whites.
