Given, area of parallelogram = area of triangle with same base (b).
Also, height of parallelogram, h = 2cm
Let, the height of triangle be H cm.
Now,
Let’s equate the area of parallelogram and triangle with same base, we get,
Area of parallelogram = Area of triangle
⇒b×h = 1 2 ×b×H    ⇒h = 1 2 ×H ⇒2 = 1 2 ×H ⇒2×2 =H ⇒H=4cm   So, the height of the triangle is 4cm.
Hence, the correct option is 1.
