Detailed Solution

The Aryabhatiyam is a book written in Sanskrit by the mathematician and astronomer Aryabhata. Even though it appears as though the sun rises and sets every day, he insisted that day and night are caused by the earth's rotation on its axis. Additionally, he developed a scientific theory to explain eclipses. He found a method for calculating a circle's circumference almost as precise as our current formula. Varahamihira, Brahmagupta, and Bhaskaracharya were a few other mathematicians and astronomers who made significant discoveries.
