Given that the average of four consecutive even numbers is 27
Let the four consecutive even numbers be x−2,x,x+2,x+4
The average = x-2+x+x+2+(x+4)4
Therefore, 27= 4x+44
⟹27 = x+1
⟹x = 26
The largest number is x+4 = 26+4 = 30
Hence option (4) is correct.
