Detailed Solution

The axis powers in the first world war consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey. It started in 1914 and lasted till 1918. It was started by Austria, which attacked Serbia for the murder of the Austrian Prince in Serbia. The war was fought among two groups, the Axis and the Allied Powers (consisting of Britain, France, Italy, Russia and the USA). The war was concluded with the defeat of the axis powers. The Treaty of Versailles was introduced at the end of the war. It was a biased and unjust treaty that placed axis powers as the sole bears of war guilt.
