Given that the barrel of a fountain pen is cylindrical in the shape with h=7  cm and d=5mm  = 0.5 cm.
A full barrel of ink in the pen will be used up on writing, N=330 words on an average.
Now, radius:
  r= d 2 r= 5 2 r=2.5mm r=0.25cm   Calculating the volume of a barrel by using the formula, V=π r 2 h   .

20.5=1.5  
Calculating the required number of words by using the volume of one barrel and volume of ink.
n= V V ×N n= 200 1.375 ×3300 n=145.45×3300 n=48000
