The area of the lawn excluding the area of the circular flower bed = Area of the lawn - Area of the circular flower bed

= (length x breadth) - (${\mathrm{\pi r}}^2$) 

 (Where length = 10 m, breadth = 5 m, $\mathrm{\pi }=\frac{22}{7}$ and radius(r) = 2 m)

= 10 × 5 - ($\frac{22}{7}$) × 2 × 2

= 50 - 12.57 

= 37.43 m²

Therefore, the area of the lawn apart from the flower bed is 37.43 m².
